Race Information

PLACE Downtown Lansing, MI The race will begin in front of the Capitol. View Map LENGTH All participants are welcome to run or walk 5 kilometers, equal to 3.1 miles.

WHO BENEFITS?
The Capitol Bancorp 5K for JA raises money for our area schools and Junior Achievement (JA). 50% of pledged funds raised by each participating can be directed to a designated school, and the remaining 50% goes to support JA on our community.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
EVERYONE AND ANYONE is welcome... Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your classmates, bring your strollers, bring your co-workers!

WHAT IS THE ENTRY FEE?
Participants can elect to pay a flat entry fee themselves or collect it in pledges. All participants are strongly encouraged to collect pledges above the minimal entry fee. Fee includes t-shirt, refreshments and food from local sponsors.
