PLACE Tempe Town Lake Tempe Arts Park DATE The race begins at 8:00 a.m. Run/Walk & 9:00 a.m. FREE Kid’s Fun Dash. Saturday, April 26, 2008. LENGTH All participants are welcome to run or walk 5 kilometers, equal to 3.1 miles.

WHO BENEFITS?
The Capitol Bancorp 5K for JA raises money for our area schools and Junior Achievement (JA). 50% of pledged funds raised by each participant can be directed to a designated school, and the remaining 50% goes to support JA in our community.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
EVERYONE AND ANYONE is welcome... Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your classmates, bring your strollers, bring your co-workers!

WHAT IS THE ENTRY FEE?
Register early and save! Before April 11, 2008, the earlybird entry fee is $20. After April 11, 2008, the entry fee is $25. Participants can elect to pay a flat entry fee themselves or collect it in pledges. All participants are strongly enouraged to collect pledges above the minimum entry fee. Fee includes t-shirt, refreshments and food from local sponsors including Texas Roadhouse and Jamba Juice.
